Employment Law Consultant

Our client specialises in supporting businesses with employment law and HR services. Their common sense and friendly approach to advising means that our client delivers a dedicated service bespoke to an organisation’s needs keeping their best interests at heart. You will be responsible for providing Employment Law, HR advice and solutions to various clients as and when required. While also assisting in the development of relationships, HR products, services and documents. The ideal candidate will be resilient, approachable and professional.

 
Responsibilities

  • Provide a telephone advisory service to clients on employment and HR issues, ensuring they are fully aware of their rights
    and the correct procedures and processes to follow.
  • Providing commercial advice to various industry sector clients.
  • Continually update knowledge of employment law and HR issues to ensure that our products, services and advice are
    updated and reflect current legislation.
  • Advising client on a variety of issues from disciplinaries, redundancies, TUPE and mostly non contentious matters.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with clients by delivering employment and HR advice specific to their needs.
  • Support and update the sales team and alert them of any emerging issues.

 
Requirements

  • Experience in providing HR Consultancy or have worked in a shared service centre
  • Experienced in all areas of HR and employment law, including terms and conditions, disciplinary and grievance, sickness and
    absence, performance and misconduct, TUPE, redundancy, discrimination, dismissal, employee relations
  • Understands data protection & Confidentiality at the highest level
  • Judgement & decision making with the ability to make sound judgement based upon available information
  • Presents him or herself in a confident manner & works without needing direct supervision. Says ‘no’ in the face of unreasonable demands
  • Able to establish effective working relationships both Internally & with business partners
  • CIPD Qualification
  • Employment Law Qualification
  • GCSE’s and O/A level (or Equivalent) C+ in English and Maths
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

 
Benefits

  • Salary £26,000.00 to £30,000.00 per annum
